Roadblocks in Family Dynamics

Join Inheriting Wisdom & Promises Treatment Centers in an interactive and informative conversation wrestling with a variety or challenges that keep your clients from taking action on your best ideas. It’s time to honestly deal with the 4-D’s that act as roadblocks; Death, Disability, Divorce and Drugs, and how to approach these topics in a way that is sensitive to your clients and won’t harm your relationship. There’s an elephant in the room, you know it, they know it, how do you address it?

About the Presenters:

Dr. James Weiner, Co-Founder of Inheriting Wisdom

As co-founder of Inheriting Wisdom, a specialty-consulting firm focused on the concerns of families that own businesses, invest collectively or make a concerted effort to give back to the world, Dr. James Weiner knows that a family’s clear vision and effective strategy are driven by human capital. His unique expertise is dealing with the inherent human issues that arise in affluent families. Dr. Weiner’s over thirty-five years of professional experience give him the knowledge to understand individuals, work with families and know what drives both for-profit and not-for-profit organizations.

He is the co-author of The Legacy Conversation, a book designed to inspire families to have meaningful dialogues about the impact of money and the importance of sharing what matters. He has written numerous articles and speaks frequently on this topic. Dr. James Weiner is a clinical psychologist and holds the Family Business Advising and the Family Wealth Advising certificates from Family Firm Institute (a worldwide membership association for professionals serving the family enterprise field.)
