Interested in joining this study group?
The Washington (DC) Study Group meets at least three times a year (winter, spring and fall following the FFI conference). Meeting times are 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Meeting locations rotate among Washington, Baltimore and Richmond, although most of the meetings are held in downtown Washington. The group and its organized discussions are interdisciplinary. Case studies, presentations on special topics and professional updates by the members are components of every meeting. To ensure equal opportunities for each member to participate fully, the group limits participation to 18 members. Potential new members are invited as guests to learn the value of FFI study groups.
All FFI Members are eligible to participate in study groups. Study groups meet face-to-face in locations around the globe as well as virtually within the FFI study group online community. There are no annual dues to participate. Study groups may be organized based on geographic region (as is the case with New York and Oregon study groups for example), topic of interest (succession or Latin American family enterprise for example), as well as profession of origin (accounting, finance or behavioral therapy for example).
