The 2017 Nominating Committee is now soliciting suggestions from the FFI membership for two board positions for four-year terms that begin following the Annual Meeting in Chicago in October.
This year, the committee is looking for expertise in the following areas:
- Online pedagogy
- Curriculum design
- Social media and marketing
Candidates from Europe and the Pacific Rim are especially encouraged.
In all cases, we are seeking individuals who are enthusiastic about FFI's multi-disciplinary and cross-cultural approach to the field as articulated in the mission statement:
“...to be the most influential global network of thought-leaders in the field of family enterprise. We provide research-based learning and relevant tools for advisors and consultants, academics and family enterprise members to drive success.”
Nominees do not have to be current members of FFI. Self-nominations are permitted.
Names should be submitted using the online form below by March 25, 2017.
The Nominating Committee will then review all suggestions, including its own, to develop a list of potential candidates for interviewing by the committee. Nominees will be chosen by early June and the election will take place by electronic balloting in August.
