Research Supports Innovation and Best Practices in the Field of Family Enterprise
Family Business Review
Family Business Review (FBR) is the only scholarly publication in the world devoted exclusively to exploration of the dynamics of family-controlled enterprise, including firms ranging in size from the very large to the relatively small. FBR is focused not only the entrepreneurial founding generation, but also on family enterprises in the 2nd and 3rd generation and beyond, including some of the world’s oldest companies. In addition, the journal publishes interdisciplinary research on families of wealth and the family office.
A refereed journal published by SAGE, FBR is now also fully online with one of the most innovative Web 2.0 interactive platforms in the industry. FBR has achieved an Impact Factor of 2.426 and ranked 20 out of 103 in Business (Source: Journal Citation Reports June 2010, Thomson Reuters 2011), which measures the quality and impact of a publication on its field of study.
