History, Genealogy, & Family Business: Ron Drucker Shares His Family's Business Story
FFI MAC invites you to learn about a family business story as seen through the context of history. Ron Drucker, a CPA, attorney and FFI Fellow, will take you back in time as he shows you how his family and their relationships, culture, education, and general macro and micro business dynamics all played a part in key events in the family and business.
You will learn about how his family emigrating from Poland to the US in the early part of the 20th century, created one of the most successful bagel businesses ever and how it all subsequently, after 60 years, fell apart. Ron will not hesitate to cover the "warts,” as he calls them. While not proud of his family’s imperfect history, one cannot truly understand the family or its culture unless you hear the full story.
The value of the "story” with its positive and negative elements is key to understanding our clients and having them appreciate you as a person worthy of their trust. History, details and culture matter!
