With the wave of brain science
information coming at us every day, it’s difficult to sort through it all. In this program, we will explore what’s
useful, what’s important, and what helps in sharpening the skills of
individuals work in the family enterprise field.
Designed to make the new brain science practical, this program will:
- Describe the workings of the brain
- Discuss how we can improve our ever-changing brain
- Consider how we can use this critical, evolving, and ever-changing body of knowledge to think about and improve our work with family enterprises in effective and creative ways.
About the Presenter
Jane Hilburt-Davis, President, Key Resources, LLC
Jane Hilburt-Davis is an
experienced family business consultant and president of Key Resources, LLC, a
Boston-based consulting firm. She is an FFI Fellow, with an ACFBA, and president
emeritus of FFI. She has also served as Academic Coordinator of the FFI GEN
program. She is a member of the Institute for Family Owned Businesses in Maine.
Considered a leader in the field, she received the prestigious Richard Beckhard
Practice Award designed to recognize outstanding contributions to family
business practice. Jane is the author of many articles and case studies, and
has trained, mentored and coached hundreds of family business advisors. She is co-author of the widely acclaimed
book, Consulting to Family Businesses.
She serves as consultant and advisor to family businesses, and closely-held
companies, throughout the United States, and has lectured and taught in the
family business field in the US, Canada, Europe, and Australia.
