Family Business ReviewFamily Business Review (FBR) is the only scholarly publication in the world devoted exclusively to exploration of the dynamics of family-controlled enterprise, including firms ranging in size from the very large to the relatively small. FBR is focused not only the entrepreneurial founding generation, but also on family enterprises in the 2nd and 3rd generation and beyond, including some of the world’s oldest companies. In addition, the journal publishes interdisciplinary research on families of wealth and the family office. The Best of FBR IIThe Best of FBR II, is a comprehensive look at the most important research and analysis in the family business field as published in the premier family business journal, Family Business Review. First published in 1996 and edited by Richard Beckhard, this publication was reissued in 2006 as part of the 20th anniversary cele–bration. Edited by Kelin Gersick, the Best of FBR II contains 39 of the most significant articles to appear in FBR since its inception in 1988. Alberto Gimeno Sandig and Sol Elvira Pérez Torres Lara are the editors of this volume, which is pub–lished in collaboration with Fundación Nexia in Barcelona.
